Ramapo Democratic Party!
Reformists win 166 seats to the Machine's
131--With the 28 seats awarded to the winner, the
majority will stretch to a strong 194-131.
Joe Meyers, Rockland Legislator
and RDFC activist, addressed the celebrating crowd
of volunteers and new committee members at the Pasta
Cucina celebration in Airmont.
"This is the rebirth of the Democratic Party in
Ramapo," he said. "Now the people will have a voice
in a Democratic Party that respects the environment
and demands intelligent planning. A party that will
represent all diverse groups within the Town."
